Sarah Bishop has been canceled for 2020!

Not surprisingly, like most races this year, for the safety of our runners, we will be canceling the 2020 Sarah Bishop Bushwhack.

For those who have registered, we have issued refunds.

We’re looking forward to next year and you can follow us on Facebook. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback on the changes we made for the 2019 race and we’re glad you liked the new course. We promise not to mess with success for next year. For 2021, we’ll be bringing back the tech shirt as swag in a fresh redraw that’s guaranteed to be a classic.

Even  More to Love with the NEW Sarah Bishop Double 10K

Next year, we’re adding a Double 10K option starting at 7:00 a.m. Runners will complete the loop then return for the main race at 9:00. Their times will be added and awards given to the fastest competitors. All participants of the Double receive a commemorative gift you’ll be proud to use and display.

The Sarah Bishop Bushwhack is a unique and challenging 10K-ish trail race in Mountain Lakes Park, Northern Westchester, New York. Easily driveable from New York City, the course traverses through the park’s 1000 acres of scenic woodlands, beautiful vistas, and around the lakes that give the park its name.

Don’t forget to order your race shirt when you sign up. We don’t order extras so don’t miss out.

While registering, don’t forget to add the 2021 race shirt to your order. We don’t order extras of these so if you don’t order one, don’t plan on getting one.

Part of the Trail Mix Series

The Sarah Bishop Bushwhack is the fourth in the Trail Mix Trail Series of local races in 2020 which includes The Leatherman’s Loop, A Mild Sprain, Where the Pavement Ends, Paine to Pain, and Raven Rocks Run. You don’t have to participate in the series to run the race though — all are welcome!
